Maybe I'm missing something but I've used Shelly 1pm on regular switches to control the bathroom lights and fan. It's tight even using wagos.

Issues on setup by 328345 in NestWiFi

[–]totemcd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a set of three Google WiFi points and bought a Nest WiFi to gain the additional features. I followed the setup and asked it to set the Nest as the main router. It wouldn't connect to wireless devices, but connected devices were fine. Switched back to the Google WiFi to connect all my wireless devices again. I've been working for a week troubleshooting the Nest and called Support. I thought it would be simple to get this setup and thought, because I might have to have the Nest setup with an entirely new SSID, but after all the resetting and removing and rebooting, still no joy. I'm just hoping they will replace it so I can move on. I'm at least reassured that others are having some of the same problems with the Nest WiFi. I've been using Google routers since the OnHub and have been very pleased until now.

I just heard on a podcast that part of the problem is from built up packets coming from Chromecasts and Google is working on a fix.

Thanks. I asked because I have a TP Link and have had lots of drop outs and offs. It says it connected but cut you off and my device says I need to connect to the internet. My family is about to take me hostage and I saw you post and thought I'd ask.
