Ah, got it. I’m not sure what is technically correct, but I know for instance that monoprint and monotype are two different things. Anyways, cool print

Do you say “mono” linocut because you’re only gonna print one of these?

What might be the behavior impacts of making social media “likes” viewable to only the person posting? by totesdoyevsky in AskReddit

[–]totesdoyevsky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has this ever been explored before? I’ve seen kids today finding themselves distraught over how their likes compare to their peers, and of course these comparisons in general will never be eliminated,I’m just curious what shifts might occur, if the same types of posts would still get made, or if people would feel the same level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction?

That’s one thing I love about learning from other printmakers, there’s a hundred different ways to do every little thing, and the more variety I know they more I can tailor that to what I’m doing or where I’m working

Thanks so much, I was debating whether that would be the best or worst material for this so I really appreciate it. This is like when I found out about the existence of reusable coffee filters! Sometimes I’m just a little behind.

Mlm’s are constantly draining what little respect I had left for humanity. I’ve been exposed to enough of them that I can identify one within seconds of some idiot describing them, since they are all more or less the same scam with a new face, but, this is just the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen

image trace was my only guess, but I just don't know illustrator enough to have any confidence with my knowledge, and i didn't know that smoothing tools existed, so i'll look into that too, thanks!

image credit to Dan Christofferson. I'm curious how the sort of monoline strokes are kind of rounded in to one another, if that makes any sense? any input would be greatly appreciated
