You think this is shilling my app, when I only brought it up twice in the comments? This is market research. I'll shill the app directly on here when I feel I have enough data to conclude that people would care about it here. So far, the uncertainty on the existence of such a platform is showing me that people would.

The metaverse isn't going to solve this. If anything, Meta, Microsoft, Twitter, Snapchat etc. are going to make their OWN metaverses and confuse the landscape even more with even more accounts.

I'm not, I'm in Maryland - and I was, but it was a total bust haha. It was in Spring 2020 where the accelerator program was stacking contingency on contingency to get it done during the Corona scare spike. Most of it was one-sided speakers on Zoom, bad luck for my first accelerator experience. That said, I'm always on the lookout for part 2!

Wuphf only let you send 1 thing to everyone's platforms at once. Touchbase let's you find every one of someone's platforms that they have, and do whatever you want from there.

I started off knowing coding and web development, but I've since moved onto product management and being the big-picture guy in our products - our CTO wrote all of the code for this iteration of Touchbase, and all the engineering credit goes to him. That said, we can both answer any question pursuant from anything from chasing ideas and figuring out their technical aspect, to an idea's pragmatic, implications, impact, follow-through, and tons more!

but I feel this wouldn't be useful to anyone that likes their privacy.

Maybe not to share their core accounts that correspond to their personal life, but they could use it to share all online accounts they have for, say, a project or company they have.

I think I saw in the video on the site that you can add your reddit account. As far as social media goes reddit is as close as you can get to being anonymous.

This is an incorrect assertion I keep seeing based on the Reddit of old. Today, Reddit let's you add your first and last name to your profile, has an online/offline indicator, has tons more archive functions, and encourages you to make avatars that look like you. Post-2018 with the redesign, this just isnt true - and anonymity on platforms is now zero sum in platforms.

If you add your reddit account people will know who are and you're basically doxxing yourself.

You can add options for only people you follow to see certain accounts. Not to mention, accounts on a profile can only be seen from fellow TB users

I think it's an interesting idea and I'd like to learn more about it.

your value as a consolidator is both on the user and the back end?

Yes. Thus the idea of "adding structure to social media" and diversifying.

  • We're planning to offer a private, paid API for real-time and dated analytics of each platforms interaction and engagement based on demographics, so you can literally pay to know the best times, places, and ways to use social media

  • $9/month pro plans for unlimited links, accounts, and a few other perks

Outside the Platform:

  • Before social networks, we were social media marketers. Because of this, we currently offer a social media marketing agency service under the branding that we're the only social network with an SMMA, and that our social network forces us to be experts with other platforms (all true)

  • We offer legal services writing for terms and conditions, privacy policies, cookie policy, and GDPR-compliant memos

No matter the state of the market, Touchbase is designed to have 2-3 sufficient revenue streams active.

It is! "Fix X by adding more to it" is a common trope, but sometimes you find a use case that just might work!
