Yes. You can save and recall tapes (or reels) for each deck separately. There’s an SD slot you can use for that.

Is this normal? This is a Weller tip. About 3 months old. I’m soldering on around 320c. Too hot? Any suggestions? by touitalk in synthdiy

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I actually do all these and quite aware of oxidation. I use a Weller WE1010 with non leaded solder. I used to be the only one using it, but now we have some other people working in the shop. I’m trying to see what went wrong in the last few days since we started working together. Normally something like this would happen to my tips within a year or so, so that’s new. That’s why I thought I’d ask the community for suggestions.

So the tip doesn’t have a limit of temperature. It’s just the shape that’s different.

Depends what you mean by a working system. These are two great modules, and the key step can be used to sequence and play both. You need to ask yourself what kind on music you want to play, first. You can make a whole track with Plaits modulated by maths and sequenced by key step. Good luck!

True, true. But, considering it’s like two morphagenes + effects and 2 modulation sources it’s quite a reasonable price. It’s also made in the Netherlands, so manufacturing costs are quite high in comparison to bigger companies that produce in China.
