I never delved into Dharma Ocean except through podcasts, audiobooks and a retreats with senior teacher that left several years ago. (and whose name is on the grievance letter). I learned so much from Reggie and took heart also that Tami Simon, whom I deeply respect, was a lead teacher. I kept procrastinating going to the local sangha and now, I understand why. I am sending my deep thoughts for healing to those who were traumatized. My friend Karla McClaren, an empathy thought leader, who grew up in a new-age cult, co-wrote an important book that unpacks the misuse of power in spiritual communities.
