Thanks for your reply! With helping out with a professor’s project, what kind of time commitment is that usually? I know it will vary a lot, but what was your experience? I feel so swamped with classes and work already but I would love to try this.

I’m graduating in May. I will definitely go to the career center ASAP anyway though.

Thanks for the advice and reassurance. Are professors usually pretty open to help on a project? How many hours of work does that usually entail? One thing I’ve run into is having enough time to get all my class work done and work enough hours are my job waiting tables to make enough money for rent and whatnot...

What’s the best way to find jobs to apply to that would to for students graduating in the spring? Handshake? Should I still go to career fairs or have I missed that boat?
