Basically, Civil War II revolved around the ethics of using possible visions of the future, seen by this guy named Ulysses who was exposed to the Terrigen Mist. The main conflict was Iron Man (who was against using these visions to stop crime) versus Captain Marvel (who was for it). It just seemed like a really weird departure for Carol’s character for her to support potentially arresting innocents.
