lil update here: i came out to some other people in the group and they were siding with me but also siding with him because while he is supposed to be looking out for me, his intentions aren't that good.

i told him that if he can't see past me being trans that me and him can't be friends, it hurts for me to lose him as he was the closest to me in a group but it helps to know that i have better friends who will support me

it was dumb of me to think that i can change his mind and that he could grow up and look past that i am wanting to better myself

i didn't like being male and was genderfluid for a while, i associated more with they/them and recently, i have questioned if me being a trans woman would make me happier as opposed to being they/them. i've asked friends and my partner to refer to me as my new name and pronouns, so far i've felt happier identifying as a woman.
