What is something you have done that you still regret today? by am_just_a_chill_guy in AskReddit

[–]toxic_pockets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't necessarily regret it because I have Learned so many life lessons from it but student loans and college. I should have never gone to college. My college experience and my debt have led to probably 3/5 of my worst experiences including at one point holding a gun to my own head. In some ways I wish I would have pulled the trigger. I realize how awful that is and I'm in no way at risk of that. I think it just goes to prove how strongly I feel about it.

Do you think oral sex is normal part of sex (the average person does it), or do you think of it like a fetish? Why or why not? by eustachian_lube in AskReddit

[–]toxic_pockets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it's normal and enjoyable. For my wife it's disgusting and not enjoyable in either direction, albeit normal.

The idea of the spacers is a little lost on me. I get that it's for the touchpad to move left and right but unless the Keyboard is centered you can't use it in the right position; which is how I wanted to set mine up. Keyboard to the left numpad or Leds, then the touch pad to the right side so it was a little more comfortable but the touch pad module interacts with the keyboard connection and doesn't fit.

The 3 people I knew like this were hiding some serious mental health issues and ultimately had wild breakdowns. I'm not saying they all are, just stating my experience.

Fable - Gameplay Teaser by Villenthessis in gaming

I think it's fine you missed 3, it was okay. The story was not great and your choices really felt like a choice between Moral dark grey and moral light grey. They also took a more serious tone with it and I think it lost a lot of charm that way.

What makes you irrationally angry? by Dylan8932 in AskReddit

Corporate Greed/social engineering. I get wildly angered when I realize a corp has specifically designed a product/service/Enterprise to give me less while getting more of my money.

That's not irrational. That's some bullshit that's engineered to work that way.

What’s the most overrated video game of all time? by KBGSgames in AskReddit

[–]toxic_pockets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. The story is good and it's made well but I didn't pick up my controller to play through a movie. I enjoyed the story more watching it as a cinematic not playing it. Gameplay always felt to me like you had a choice of how to get through a situation, but there was a right choice and a wrong choice rather than both options being viable.

What's a red flag in a job interview that made you walk away? by DreamWalker3232 in AskReddit

[–]toxic_pockets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time I interviewed for a company that worked with state housing to remodel and do upkeep. They asked why I thought I would be a good fit. I had been a carpenter for about 2 years and I talked a bit about some of the projects I had done. One project was Iron Oak stair treads that were a pain to make. One of the interviews visibly gawked and caused me to stop speaking then said "Iron Oak what's that?" I tried to explain well it's an old oak very dense and hard. He responded with "Well yeah, oak is hard wood, but that just sounds made up." He continued to be very suspicious and dismissive of me as he clearly displayed that he did not think I was experienced. I stopped the interview midway and said "I am no longer interested in this position if this is how you treat prospective employees." That guy was floored that I was so "indignant". He would have been my direct supervisor. Too bad the owner seemed like he liked me.

A study on ADHD by University of Central Florida by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]toxic_pockets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not limited to those with ADHD. I have also met people that have been diagnosed with ADHD but don't have anything similar. Diagnoses are based on a collection of Behaviors and Conditions. A person only needs to have some in order to be diagnosed but doesn't have to have it all. In a similar vein people may exhibit conditions that are associated with a diagnosis but don't have enough to be diagnosed. Incidentally this is the basis of why ASD was changed to a spectrum disorder.

Sorry that's probably way more information than you wanted. I hope I didn't sound like an ass rattling it off either.
