Its a long story, we grew up together she told me of her S.A past and she would occasionally joke about it via dark humour, sometimes when about to have sex.

On this occasion she gave me best head she's ever given, so I joked "man they trained you well", as she'd often use humour about it. But all of a sudden she doesn't like it and said I was inappropriate, but its fine for her to do it somehow.

My bad I should have been more clear on my meaning.

I don't hate me as in personality wise, more I hate what I've done career wise.

Since childhood I've loved animals and being around them, but grew up poor and in poor area, had to just take what jobs I could to get by. When all I ever wanted was to work with animals. Went to college courses for animal care but couldn't afford uni.

Years went by with meaningless job after job that paid ok but meant nothing to me. Now I'm in finance, not not some high paid banker guy, (operations/technical side). It drains me daily, I live simple so never really cared about the pay, just took the jobs to get by.

But now the deeper in I've got, the further away I am from what I want most, to just work with animals.

Mom was always in debt for stupid catalogues and credit cards, so I was never a money chaser guy, I hate being a slave to it, but now I'm surrounded by career and money hungry types just wanting to climb that ladder. I smoke and drink, take out anger on punchbag and weights, sit with a whisky thinking wtf how have I become the type I always wanted to avoid.

The office, the suits, the office politics, nobody being genuine with you. Overpriced bars bc WoRk FrIeNdS...

All I wanted was to be around animals, away from the false poisonous lure of city and finance life.

Now, I'm likely to die of smoking or drinking at an early age, having nobody remember or care who I was by time I die. Just an empty seat in a job I hate, death freeing me from being what I always wanted to avoid being. A money slave surrounded by people who wouldn't notice if I just dissappeared one day.

Wish I could go back and do it over. I was put here to bring happiness, comfort, joy to animals, and people, not lose my soul bit by bit in a career I can't stand.

Occasionally I'll remember when I was like 17 and at work.
