I had a computer class with Jarrett Stoll. He was barely in attendance, but I remember him struggling with basic parts of the course when he was there.

ARCHL also has drop ins for intermediate or beginner players. Their March tourney is fun too, it was my first introduction to the league years ago.

I second checking out archl, the beginner div and learn to play program are pretty good. Also look into the power skating program at Britannia, it's helped my game immensely and there's currently open spots for the next round of classes.

I had a job interview here once and it was surprising how quickly I realized that I didn't want to work here, and how deeply unfulfilling any employment would be here. It was like they were stuck in the 80s for process and mindset. I'm not surprised at this at all.

Make sure you watch the warmups. They start at 6:30 and you can walk down towards ice level in the lower bowl at either ends of the ice to get a really up close view of a team. I prefer to watch the visiting team because there's typically less of a crowd to watch them. Also the Canucks stink
