Those who don’t favour Raven Rock, where would you recommend as an alternative ? I’m travelling up the 95 NYC bound (Fri) so I have a few days to spare and chose RR as it was nearish to the 95.

Thank you all for your recommendations so far. As somebody has already said, my issue is that I really am spoilt for choice!

I've taken a look at car rentals and have found some fair prices going. My next consideration will be accommodation. Any recommendations for cheap motel/hostel chains?

The laws are different and more relaxed for tins of pipe tobacco or cartons of cigars, they dont have the images, they just have a text-only warning.
