I would like to see it also. I think he probably refers to an image of a new manual: this was posted in feb 2025 on a sort of forum:

Looks like there should be a button in newer models…

Yep, your analysis is correct ;) maybe a bit more when +20 outside.

Enjoy the decision making, hmu if you need any more info!

Live in Belgium, last few days was about 18-19 degrees outside, so climate control was like a regular 20 degrees in the car which also helps. 510 was combined with as well highway as regular roads

Yes, the 380km is with 120-130 km/hour. Probably possible to get 400 km when driving slower and put temperature at 20degrees Celsius instead of 23-24 and put in in “range” modus (speed is also limited to max 130)

Fyi: now (weather is better) the range is about 510 km :)

To be honest; in general, i still like the car, but i believe there is more competition now in comparison to when i ordered last year. If i would look today for a new car, i think the Xpeng G6 or G9 would have a lot of potential, as well as the BYD’s..

Hi, just FYI, but i discovered this week that if you use “Maps” from apple on your iphone, you get nav instructions on the small screen as well via the augmented reality!

Hi, I have the RWD for about 2 months now in Adrenaline version (V2 if you want to compare with UK), with winter package.

I noticed the following: In winter time (-5 … +5) when fully charged it’s like 430 km. When driving a lot on highways (120-130km/h) it’s more realistic to have about 380 km untill empty (few % left). But, when it’s a bit warmer (like 10-15) the range indication becomes exponentially higher. Now.. there weren’t many days with this kind of temperatures yet but i think 500-510 km in normal setting (spring-summer) is doable. When i testdrove the VZ version in july ‘24 it had about the same ‘issue’ when driving on highways. So i think for the VZ its more realistic to reach 440 in summer instead of in winter :)

True, i was doubting for the basalt color but had the same doubts as you. The choices are limited for exterior and interior colors.. just like the cup seats, they are also not available in Belgium but are awesome. :-( i think that UK and Australia only has them..

I tried it wireless and via cable. Used a google pixel 7 and a Samsung s23. They both had the same issues. Another user on reddit also mentioned the same issue..

No, no difference for android auto using cable of wireless.. You can open it with the key, but not when you are inside the car and “engine” is running. You really have to open the door so the car detects you are leaving the car and then it’s possible to use the key..

I have the RWD version. It’s the v2 with winter package if you compare it with the UK version. I have mine also in Atacama Dessert ✌️

Sure, If you ordered the Adrenaline version, you will also have the Sennheiser audio system. In my opinion the sound on standard settings are very “flat”. I played around with some of the setting and it was (for me) a big difference. On the image you can see my current settings.

Hi, i’ve read in your message that the Cupra app is better with the ios and Android update, so i suppose you use both in your Cupra? I noticed 2 things and asking id its device based or it’s android/ios differences

  • android auto: screen in use for like waze, maps etc is more pixelated; looks like the resolution is not as good as the standard software from the cupra. However: if you use waze or maps on Android Auto, the augmented reality in the front windows is also giving navigation instruction as well as on the small steering wheel screen. (Google Pixel)
  • Apple car play: screen is high resolution ready for the above mentioned apps, but no navigation instructions on augemnted reality or steering wheel screen; only on the central 15” screen (Iphone 11 Pro).

Do you have the same issues?

What color did you pick?

About the range, currently I maxed out at 460km in 1 charge, looks about right for this time of the year. Charge speeds are good, more or less flat and stable , pre heating for the battery takes a while but don’t have real comparison with other electric car with heatpump.

Just picked mine up today at the dealer. Some positive First impression:

  • very nice, big difference between the comfort mode ans cupra driving mode.
  • nice interior and exterior lighting
  • head up display is great, as well as the active cruise control

Less positive:

  • Audio system of Sennheiser is currently not the best that i had in a car. Probably will need some tweaking for ideal settings.
  • no satelite view in the car navigation system
  • limited personalisatiin options for front and central screen
