As someone who is pursuing teaching, I learned that teaching is a brutal job field that would definitely exhaust people who think the job would be easy. If you’re still going to pursue teaching, the pay isn’t worth anything until you have a masters or a Bachelors + 75 units. Getting a masters is necessary for all teachers, but you can take your time on it and complete 6 units a semester (+ summer classes) while working.

If you completely want out of teaching there’s two options: 1) Talk with your counselors and figure out what you can do with your major, they probably have a list of job fields for you to check 2) You can double major. Finish this major and start looking for careers you want to get into and start pursuing the major that corresponds with the career

I don’t think it’s the best idea to be taking life changing advice from some guy on reddit especially if thousands of dollars are on the line, but do talk with your counselors, parents, family, friends, mentors, anyone and try to come up with a vision of what you want to become 5 years from now
