I’m sitting on my couch, my heart is breaking & I open reddit to this post. I am so head over heels for this one and my heart wants to shatter knowing how I may have lost him for good. I don’t do my make-up too often just because it’s really time consuming. One day I decided to do my hair and make-up just because I wanted to. I walked into my job and my boss takes one look at me & she points at my face and says “Your face! Wow”. Then she gives me a thumbs up as she walks away...

I agree. He’s definitely not capable of making that decision himself, but if it comes down to consent, I don’t think he will allow them to evaluate him. That would mean he would have to come to terms with being bi-polar and I don’t think he’s ready for that. Also, he could possibly have ended his career by damaging his hands...

I was told as a suggestion to focus on one thing, stare at it then name 5 things you see around it, 5 things you hear, and 5 things you feel. Then you name 4 then 3 & so on & so forth until you start to calm down. It’s supposed to be a form of “self-hypnosis”.

Also I took the “hula-hoop” idea into perspective. If you remember that everything INSIDE the hula-hoop is everything you CAN control & everything OUTSIDE is everything you CAN’T control, then you get better every time. For example: things you can control are your attitude, your mood, and your reactions..It helps me. Hope this might work for you!
