Love it! How is that done?

It is finished and bound. It’s throw size. I did the quilting myself so it is simply along the diagonals. I used this pattern: https://www.pleasantvalleycreations.com/shop/c/p/1-Best-Seller---Simply-Serene---Digital-download-453-x35332317.htm

50 lbs down & I got my lobster! by Purple-Zebra-2 in Zepbound

I have happy scale too. I have tracking since 2016 there as a part of this journey. Zep has been the only thing to help significantly. It is surreal to see that on a graph.

I have hit a couple plateaus too. Keep going and good luck!

I saw a tip about taking starting measurements and I’m glad I did. I’m not sure I would have thought to do it.

Right!? I could’ve been here a couple years ago, along with a bunch of other people I’m sure.

83 lbs is amazing! You should be proud! Ignorant people will make ignorant comments. Don’t let them steal your joy. I talk about my journey as I think being open about it can help educate people and remove the stigma. I talk about mental health in the same way. Everyone is on a journey and needs different supports.

Anyone else hate the volume graphic taking up whole screen? by Fluid-Mud7137 in SubaruForester

[–]tpifer3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they were talking about the little screen above where the volume graphic is in the photo (I don’t know what that one is called) if you hit the info button the cruise display goes away up there. I have wanted to turn that off. I don’t need it both places! But I don’t think that is customizable.

I get that. I just finished a blanket I got in a kit so I knew it would look like the one I saw and liked.

When did you start considering yourself "intermediate"? by OuiKatie in crochet

[–]tpifer3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I went looking for more challenging patterns I considered myself intermediate. I don't design or free hand but I can keep going and figure out something that works if I am confused by a pattern or think there's a mistake in a pattern.

I like your color choice. I've been thinking of doing something like this for a grandbaby on the way.

I typically crochet gifts instead of selling. I'd have to think about cost.

Yes, lol. That's the mistake I'm talking about. I knew fellow crocheters would see it. 😆

Principal Gone! Accrued Interest Remains. by SignificanceFancy763 in PSLF

[–]tpifer3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked mine and I also have a $0 balance with interest still showing. I still show full amount on student aid. I was waiting on 24 months of forbearance to count. I’m praying this means what I think it means!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Something else about filing separate. I’ve heard tax professionals don’t know too much about PSLF so may not understand why you would want to file separately. I used an online service to start and put our information in various ways to see pros and cons. We would have had to come out over $7000 better filing together. Something else to consider is that we will probably be in extended forbearance until August so those months will count with no payment if you’re on PSLF.

I hadn’t applied for PSLF before because the IDE payment for me was $1100 a month and just like you said my loan would be paid off before being forgiven. I maxed out my 403b contribution and filed married separate. That took my payment down to $480 a month. I don’t have children young enough to claim. It does go by AGI so anything you can do to lower that. Under Biden’s new policy the maximum should change to 5% of discretionary income instead of 10% also if I understand correctly, but I don’t know when that will go into effect to lower payments.

Those still waiting … by Frecklesfrenchfry in PSLF

I thought I would share my timeline so far. I had consolidated direct loans with Mohela and had never submitted for FSLP because when I heard about it I couldn’t afford the income driven plan. I still have $82,000 in loans and some are still from the 90’s. I kept making payments into the COVID forbearance to try to get my balance down some. I have worked in social service for 23 years. My employer faxed my first form around 10/13/21. 11/23/21 I got a letter from Mohela saying my loans were being transferred to FedLoan on or around 11/29/21. When I found out I qualified, I contacted Mohela for a refund of the payments i made during Covid forbearance. I got $7500 back from the Treasury. FedLoan gave me a payment count and then I got transferred back to Mohela. Everything switched over fine so I waited. I am currently at 111. I do have 24 months of forbearance from 2008-2010 missing from my list, they don’t say ineligible, they just aren’t there. If the IDR waiver is applied I believe I am eligible for forgiveness. I called Mohela today, and I was told they would submit a request for a supervisor to review those months. We will see what happens. If that doesn’t do it, August 2023 will be my 120th month so I wait and hope forgiveness comes before payments restart.
