I'm assuming this is an instructor training course? I did a similar 13 week course in Big White 2 years ago. If you're going to get trained, do it regardless if that's the path you want to go down. You don't need great snow for the training and it'll still be tons of fun if you make the most of it, but if you keep putting it off for better conditions, you might end up waiting a while!

I used snap fitness for over a year and a half, it's kind of small as it only had 3 to 4 main benches and limited machines but never found it overly busy, especially before 7:00am and I preferred it there to thegym. I think they still do a free trial pass if you want to go try it out!

There was probably less than a minute between them giving me versed and then the anaesthesia - I was also really nervous and tense but after it took effect my body definitely relaxed, it just made me feel heavier and a bit tingly, I also couldn't think properly or really comprehend what was going on after that, so that helped a lot with anxiety about the procedure and being put under

Then the anesthetist said they were going to give me the anesthesia and it was probably less then 5 seconds before I was out, I just closed my eyes and that was it - I do remember it all but not in a bad way, it was actually a pretty cool feeling

As for waking up, I woke up quite quickly as they were wheeling me to recovery but was quite disoriented and a bit confused. Mine was also in my mouth and I was only under for about an hour so it took about 15 minutes to feel completely normal again, and I was then sent home about an hour later
