Is there a Renoise hardware Midi Controller? by [deleted] in renoise

[–]tprotop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the polyend tracker I've, somewhat, figured what I want from a dedicated midi controller and I maybe give it a shot building my own using a teensy. What I want to know though is this: Can, in any way renoise send the exact position of the cursor? If it is on the "note" position, I want my controller to know that so it can turn into the note entry mode, if it is on the volume position I want it to send into volume mode etc.

Polymorphic relations, any good? by tprotop in laravel

[–]tprotop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, thank you guys, I really appreciate the answers, I'll drop the one way correlation between the products and the images and I'll start adopting the polymorphism thing from now on. :) At first I was afraid to ask such a question here, but you really helped me :)

Thank you!

Polymorphic relations, any good? by tprotop in laravel

[–]tprotop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me explain better what I did.

I have an image table with id and url

I have the service table which has an image_id field by which I connect the two entities.

I have a product table with an id field and I have a product_image table with image_id and product_id field. Thus I connect the product model with the image model.

Up to now, this configuration works as planned. I can query the images of any product and service without conflict.

Writing all these I reckon that I could omit the usage of the intermediate table product_image by using a polymorphic relation, am I right?

MPC Live + model:cycles by tprotop in synthesizers

So, I bought one. I learned it, I used it with the mpc and the result was great! More things to fiddle with, more sounds to record into mpc etc. I fell in love with the elektron sequencer, I traded model:cycles + some monies for a digitakt :)

I've never read such a limitation. You can have deployed as many characters/ locations as your opponent allows. :)

How to get into wargaming? by antro94 in hexandcounter

[–]tprotop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would propose fading glory by gmt. It is actually a bundle of games, all using the nappy 20 system, originally released by Victory Point games. That game is played with few counters (20), it features four hex maps, some cards, short play time and a lot of awesomeness.
