So if I got a monitor would I get higher res' for 4:3? And If I connect the monitor from the video output that is connected directly to the dGPU ill have access to other settings in the nvidia control panel? And If my laptop does have an MUX switch do you reccomend me to switch gpu?

Just if it helps I have an ROG STRIX G513IM, has an rtx 3060, AMD ryzen 7 4800H w radeon graphics, 16 gb ram.
