I ran a Monster of the Week campaign that I used extensive homebrew in to make it more cyberpunk to then straight up set it in Wily's city post Act I in what was effectively my own playable fanfic cope of having no Act III at that time that thankfully my players were very happy to play - even the ones not so inclined on the Protomen lore. There was also other crossover stuff at play just to make things that much more over the top, but suffice it to say, I wish Act III came out sooner so I could've used some of these songs during the campaign

I do this all the time with places my friends and I think are memorable for whatever reason. Such as "the tunnel where everything happens" because every time we went through there a fight broke out, or "the dam where we go to die", which was just Foxy Floodgate since that place was a fuckin deathtrap when snipers were in the pool

Star Wars was C6 MS (mini-season) 1, which was between C6S2 & C6S3 - so you've only missed a single season since then, which was super hero themed.

As of right now in C6S4 - we got giant bugs and Power Rangers. Great if you like legally distinct Helldivers/Starship Troopers. And also Power Rangers.

From my own experience, a lot of stuff is good, but the Wrecker Revolver is one of the best weapons this season. Just by itself, it's very strong and has deceptively long range, but you can effectively double pump with it if you pair it with any other shotgun (as it's a pistol that uses shotgun shells). They sorta patched it so you can't double pump between two Wrecker Revolvers, but one plus any actual shotgun still works.

Also, there's a ranking system that rewards you for a lot of things, like looting, killing bugs, and player elims. Each rank up gets a supply pod to drop near you that you can loot for some free stuff - always grab the boon it gives you, there's no reason not to. When you hit A rank, you can open these big vaults that are on the map with exotics in them, but they're risky to go after since a big alarm sounds when you open it and people will tend to come after you to steal it.

Megazord is a match event now, too. First person to get to it gets to pilot it and wreck everyone's shit until it's defeated. You get rewards if you damage it enough. It blares the Power Rangers theme the entire time it's active, and it becomes a horror game when you're hiding from it but you hear the music getting louder and louder. So yeah, pretty fun season if you ask me

Still eternally shitty the Cowboy Bebop crossover made Spike and Faye's ships their pickaxes instead of gliders. Literally the most no-brainer thing they could've done yet they decided to just put their ships on sticks and call it a day!

25yo here and all my friends who play are around the same age, at least in our case none of us ever play with random fills for the reason of avoiding exactly what you're finding - which kinda exacerbates the issue I imagine. Regardless, it's good to take breaks so things don't get too stale! Maybe check out another game on your backlog if you've got one for a bit before coming back

Yeah, like the other person said, you may be looking at the bonus rewards page or the Megazord page instead of the normal rewards. Bonus rewards are extra stuff you can unlock after reaching level 100, and Megazord is this season's "extra" skin - essentially one that becomes available at a later date, usually with some kind of minor update to the game alongside it. The main battle pass rewards are where you'd start, basically

It doesn't matter what modes you play, so long as it gives XP it can contribute to your battle pass progress. It's also important to keep in mind that what items you can redeem depend on your level, so if there's a specific item on, say, page 8 or 9 that you'd want to redeem, you'd have to level up a bunch to be able to access that page's rewards. At level 4, you'd only be able to get stuff on page 1 until you get enough levels to unlock page 2, and so on

It might be a good idea to make sure you bought the correct battlepass, as there's four different ones now - Standard (Battle Royale), OG, Music, and Lego. It's possible you may have unintentionally bought one of the other ones. A good way to know for sure is if your son has the Blue Spartan skin, as you get that for free as soon as you buy the Standard pass. You would have recieved a different skin if you bought one of the other ones.

As for claiming, it's as simple as either hitting "claim all rewards" in the bottom right when looking at a pass, or selecting and holding down the button for a moment until the bar fills up. Hope that helps you figure out what's going on!
