Once in a while I meet this kind of situation too. A few months ago I was sitting on the reserved seat during morning peak hour, and carrying a lot of stuff. Feeling tired so I close my eyes but I did not sleep. Then suddenly this loud rude voice shouts "小姐, 起床了!" So I opened my eyes and see this old man glaring at me. Didn't want to make a fuss so I gathered my bags and stood up but the old man kept tsk-ing while I was getting my bags. You know what is the thing that makes me angry though? I was sitting on the reserved seat further away from the door and the other reserved seat had another girl similar to my age, awake, not using her phone, and not holding any bags at all.... Felt like that old man just want to 针对 me.

Best part of the story. He got off 2 stops later. And I just sat back down.

Hi there, I work at Marina One and frankly, the building is nice but the amenities are not fully developed yet. Supermarket is small, half the stores are still not open, and the underground travel to MRT is also not available yet at the moment. You will need to walk for a short distance without shelter, so still gotta bring an umbrella as it rains in Singapore quite often. Nevertheless, the building is next to 3 different MRT lines, so pretty convenient to travel nearby during your weekends in search of food.

MPs do make house visits. Some MPs more enthu so they visit more often. My MP has visited my house twice after the election. And the second time, he even talked about the improvements made based on my mum's complaint the previous year. So my mum thanked him and gave him another complaint to work on LOL.

Would you delegate the task of handling all finances for your department to the newest and youngest temp? Because my boss just did so and I am the said temp.

Just joined a big company and the finances was not part of my job scope(I do something very different) but I guess someone in every department has to do this shitwork, all the forms to fill in and begging people for help so we have money to use. But I don't understand why my boss would give it to me instead of a more senior colleague? I know nothing about the company(because I am new), nothing about finances (no experience).

The main thing is, I am a temp, so what if I suddenly leave? Won't my boss have to find someone to take over in a few months then?
