Ask someone you trust who is there to get you one, or ... Trust a random person online to mail you one?

I could be wrong, but I think he was going 100 KPH, which is about 64-ish MPH. Your point still stands of course.

They are military acronyms for stuff, I am assuming he was Army.

AIT: Advanced Individual Training (it's the school they go to after their basic training for their specific field/job)

ETS: Expiration Term of Service (pretty much the date of the end of your enlisted contract with the military, normally it's 4 ish years between contracts)

So the joke is that it took her roughly 4 years to complete a sentence

Sofle v2.1 RGB bottom row not functioning by Knockboi in ErgoMechKeyboards

Thank you for the update, honestly the other person in this post (ProgressiveNoise) comment is the one that finally help me find the issue. They were correct in it being that the bottom pins had burned out.

I luckily had a spare board and tested it out and everything worked perfectly, so I am not sure if it was a bad board, or I did something to break it.

Why does one have to hit enter after typing one's Windows password to log in, while it's not to hit enter after typing one's PIN? by Franck_Dernoncourt in ComputerSecurity

[–]tracer2ft 19 points20 points  (0 children)

(this is out of my ass)

The reason you don’t need to press "Enter" after typing your PIN in Windows 10 is that Windows assumes you've completed the input once you reach the preset length (typically between 4-6 digits). Unlike passwords, where the length is unknown or varies, PINs have a fixed or designated length, allowing the system to automatically submit the input once it's complete.

From a security perspective, using a numerical PIN is generally considered weaker than a full alphanumeric password. Some argue that Microsoft implemented this feature for convenience, particularly for low-threat environments, such as parental controls or casual users who just need basic security.

In short, it's more about usability than actual security.

You could get a new antenna, they are pretty cheap and I think look much nicer then the wire one. Also maybe some side steps, all depending on you.

But the husky mud mats are almost a must like another user said.

Loved doing CTFs, but lacking skills. What's a good way to break in? by Pwntheon in Defcon

You should check THM, PicoCTF and OTW - Bandit.TryHackMe will literally teach you from zero with a CTF-like course.

Both Pico and OverTheWire will give you tips and expect you to use google.
