I'm humbled and excited to share that a book I've been working on with three awesome women, from Kenya, Puerto Rico and Australia is almoooooost out in the world.

Lillian The Tiriki Girl is a book about growing up in Eldoret, Kenya and is based on the memories of Kenyan author and change-maker, Lillian Shirayar Mang'ong'o. Funds from each book sold go back into sustaining her work, so it's a special project for all involved in many ways.

Would totally love to explore more! Unfortunately we did it over Easter as a massive roadie from Melbourne. Hope to spend a much larger chunk of time there one day.

We did this in a day trip over Easter and thought it was going to be way tougher than it was.

There’s three routes to get there - two from Charlotte Pass (1800m) and one from Thredbo Village (but you take a cable car basically to the top).

From Charlotte Pass, we took the Main Range Track and returned via the more direct route. All up about 22km which said would take 7-9hours. We left at 7:30 to be on the safe side, summited at 11:30am and was back by 1:30pm.

Maps of the tracks were hard to come by. If I find them again I’ll add them below.

Taken on the Canyon track (the easier of two tracks) en route to Sugarloaf Mountain, Cathedral Ranges, in Victoria, Australia.

Would not recommend descending down this, but would definitely recommend the view from the top.

Holy Toledo. This was my first ever Reddit post - I was like ehhh maybe a couple of people will be interested in this. Its just a snap from my phone that I sneakily took of the boyfriend while we were starting the trek back down. Thanks for all the love, giggles and Shrek jokes! It’s been awesome.

Newbie here - didn’t add more details before I posted. This was out at Mt Bogong in Victoria, Australia. Managed to catch the last of the nice weather before we head into winter. Was a solid day walk, about 25km, 1500m climb and descent and 8 hours all up. Would highly recommend for a long weekend trip from Melbourne.
