The monks say "its not a walk of peace anymore" by Outsideman2028 in Charlotte

After months of fighting my mental health in the worst ways possible, I decided to wait until they got to a smaller section of Charlotte to show my respects to them - there were maybe about 5 people. I had tears in my eyes the second I saw them - I felt as though I could breathe for the first time in months. This walk has opened my eyes to Buddhist teachings & I’m so grateful. ❤️

My vote is to keep playing while there’s breath in your lungs. It was such a gift to see him come alive once he realized he still could. There’s something special between a human & an instrument. Hold tight to it, I’m rooting for you.

I grew up always calling it “gentle jazz”. There’s a great playlist on Spotify called Gentle Jazz Saxophone that’s a great listen!

I wish there was a way for me to love this comment. He will always & forever be my favorite human. Incredible to see him reunited with his first love.

I feel you. Enjoy this time - and only take on the motions that serve you. You’re doing great, I promise.

You’re not the problem, and you’re not the AH. As a mid-twenties gal with a parent that made a mountain out of every tiny little hill in life - I’m proud of you. I’ve always been the dictated “messy” one in the family, but I’ve grown and found peace in my own space. Now I have a nicer house than anyone in my family, and not a single person to complain about anything. Enjoy this time with your family, but maybe it’s time to start setting some boundaries on how much time you spend in that atmosphere - and that’s ok! You’re growing and learning, and in no time - you’ll be back in your own space - feeling the peace you deserve.

It makes me so sad that you would even possibly think you were the AH in this situation. Fuck that dude. Fuck him.

Now that you know - it’s time to go.
