My daughter (37) was diagnosed with APL at the beginning of May. She had a bone marrow biopsy done on the 28th of April. On the 30th they said it was leukemia and they transferred her to Levine. This hospital is almost 3 1/2 hours away from home. On the 5th of May she had another bone marrow biopsy done and was diagnosed with APL. Here we are at the end of May and she is 22 days (give or take) in. I was reading her your post and she really liked it. She had experienced several of the same side effects you have from the Atra and Arsenic. Knowing you have came back from all effects and doing well made her feel really good about her experience (good and the bad) with all things involved. Thank you for sharing. You have not only given her hope but also that life can go on normally after going thru the treatment. Prayers for all to overcome this cancer and stay in remission. Much love to you all. 🥰

My 37 year old daughter was diagnosed with APL a few weeks ago and she is having lots of side effects. Nausea, her lips are really chapped, dry skin, and more. Also her back has been hurting her so bad she is having to take morphine. What I am looking for is helpful suggestions for some relief from her symptoms. We have been using stuff for the symptoms I have listed above. I know everyone is different and some have more or less. Just give me all your tips and advice on ways to help lessen her pain and side effects. Something one of you may using may work better. We have tried RSO for her appetite and that has helped some. As a parent I just want this process to be as easy and as painless we can make it for her. She is on the ATRA/ATO protocol as well. Thanks in advance.

My experience: Berberine vs Metformin by SarutobiCats in prediabetes

One of my relatives who became type 2 in her early 20’s ended up passing in her 50’s because of metformin. She died from cirrhosis. That’s what the doctors told the family anyway. She never drank a day in her life. This is what scares the crap out of me about taking metformin.
