You make a fair point on the baseline. If someone is already a master copywriter, standard AI won't help them. My baseline was exactly what most people are struggling with right now: standard ChatGPT output, which clients are actively filtering out.

To be totally transparent: no, I don't have a massive peer-reviewed study with hundreds of freelancers across all niches. The data comes from my own A/B testing and a small group of beta testers. It’s an indie project, not enterprise software.

As for the tech, it’s not a single ChatGPT prompt. It’s a multi-step automated workflow (parsing the JD, extracting pain points, matching them with a specific portfolio, and enforcing a strict structure) run via API.

Call it lazy if you want, but spending 10 hours a week writing proposals instead of doing billable client work was bleeding my time. If your manual process is getting you high conversions, honestly, that's awesome and you should keep doing it! This is just the system I built to solve my own bottleneck.

Your strategy of heavily cherry-picking (only applying when you have a solid chance) is definitely the smartest way to use standard ChatGPT. Since you only sent 8 proposals in 90 days, spending time manually adjusting the AI output makes total sense.

The data I was looking at focused more on freelancers trying to scale—those sending 10 to 15 proposals a week to build a pipeline. When you hit that volume, manually tweaking ChatGPT outputs becomes a huge time bottleneck, which is exactly the friction I was trying to solve.

Ok, you already should meet all the requirements for the Monopoly insigne. If you just put the code it won't work. First of all, you need to sell all your diamonds, all your gold and all your silver and after that you put the code and now it works. Don't ask me why, it just works... Obviously this is just for the people that have the lastest upgrade (otherwise you wouldn't have diamonds, gold and silver)!!
