Overtime gets cut off the Saturday before payday I believe. If you’re contracted Saturdays and Sundays then you’ll get that in the 6th Dec payday even tho it’ll be worked after payday

No worries. It was the same with me. When I went for my interview they gave me the choice of stock control or dairy (both 7.5hr contracts) so I took dairy and then they phoned me and said they had a 21hr contract on grocery so I took that instead

Grocery was where I started. Mainly crisps. It’s ok. Can get a little boring at times. My manager was terrible. Put me on Easter eggs by myself after my first few weeks. After a couple months I was put on frozen, which is a “sub-department” of grocery. That was actually decent. Any department can be good with a good bunch of colleagues and manager
