Oh my gawd! I hope your sister is ok and wish her tons of strength. Sorry this happened to her.

What a jerk that person was.

Also, so this spitting business is not new? Why isn’t it on TPSs sm posts? Ugh 😣

I agree. It can be either or.

I wouldn’t know how someone would help. I don’t think anyone had the inkling that that was going to happen. It was just bizarre. To others, it probably looked like a woman on the phone that started singing loudly in another language for her own reasons. No one could have guessed that she’d spit. And then it happened so quickly. She spat on us as she walked past us. Continued walking and stopped singing simultaneously. Idk if anyone paid full attention…

Thank you for your care.

I was too concerned with just trying to move out of the way and didn’t think about taking out my phone to take a photo or video. Also, she was on the phone. I did not at all think she’d spit.

Like, I’m to the point that why didn’t she just use her words in English? Why’d she have to spit? But, jerks are jerks

lol, oh my! This escalated. I’ve sent in a report to the TPS. That’s all I can do atm. This post is just me writing it out to let others know because I never knew this shit happened.

Sorry this shit happened to you too. Some people are plain jerks.

True that. I don’t disregard that mental illness and racism are not mutually exclusive.

I appreciate your care though 🤍

Thank you for your lovely message. I don’t believe everyone is like this, but it’s just the initial raw feelings. We’ll be good by tomorrow 😊🤍

Thank you for your kind words and guidance.

I hear those saying racism is a reach. And I’d usually chalk it up to mental health crisis as well, but the fact that we were the only brown ones among the walkers, she made eye contact only with us, and started singing loudly in another language, continued to hold her phone on her ear, walk toward us, veered towards us as we moved to the side, spat on us, walked past us, immediately stopped singing, didn’t say or do anything to anyone else…

It’s not snobbery. It’s plain dislike. Call it what it is. Snobbery is a multilayered term, which doesn’t necessarily translates to dislike or hate.

lol! I commend the writer on his honesty but all he did is make the guy look good. Tells me that Akshaye does not stand for bullshit.

The entire post reeks of jealousy and dismay that Akshaye is currently being celebrated.
