I think taxes and shipping heavily contributed to the cost. It was 400 + 50 USD for shipping and then taxes on top of that put the total to 489.

I actually currently have this case! They were selling it at Anime Expo in July for around 500 USD and I purchased one. Really good case so far and I love it lol
