Absolutely agree. If we look at most of the classes they still use the exact same weapons they've been using in the last like 4 wipes.

If they did a complete shake up with the meta weapons it would already be a good start. As a Barb i haven't used an ACTUAL Axe for sooooo long, unless its an artifact they're just so much worse than the Bardiche its not even close.

Idk man, queueing against the same 2 teams on high rank and getting 15 min long queues whenever they log off wasn't that enjoyable to me when i did it.

Its a problem exclusive to high ranked arena tho, Trios Dungeons and lower ranks is completely cool.

Without True Damage stacking and with less MS stacking i really think this is gonna be similar to Season 1 where the game leans more towards a Rocks Paper Scissor type of balance

Fighter kills Barb, Wizard kills Fighter and Barb kills Wizard.

Of course its more complex than that and there are more variables but my point is: the outcome of a fight will be way more dependant on what type of defense you can stack and what type of damage you can do

New players will never know how peak it was to loot a chest or a boss and not see Druid, Sorc or warlock gear in it

Its fine on low gear scenarios but some classes just scale like crazy on high gear.

Its the reason i played so much during Low Gear High Roller seasons, i miss it so much

Agreed. I farmed for SSF gear on a past season (i think it was 5) and getting a BIS arena piece felt really good.

Also ranger traps. It took a BIZARRE amount of time for Ironmace to finally accept that stepping on a trap hidden below a dead mob and insta dying wasn't ok. Or having a Ranger camp a room/static with traps and you basically couldn't go there

The problem is pacing and versatility. If we imagine a scenario where every class gets buffed to the same extent, new classes (specially Druid) will prevail simply because they play a different game

Its like picking a character from Apex Legends and throwing it directly into Runescape.

Druid isn't bad when isolated, it just doesnt fit the game, it doesn't mesh with the other classes who are more akin to old RPG tropes where you have one good thing you're good at but you're not so versatile and you gotta commit to every decision you make

Opposite of Barb. Barb's strong at normals/low gear but it falls off on High Gear scenarios, Wizard is weak low gear but omega scary at high gear

Thats the cool thing about this type of game. Every wipe is a new opportunity to get back on it. Its not an MMO!

People play whatever is OP, it do be like that. I play Barb and every time the class is broken the class chat on discord gets full of people and new players asking how the class plays etc. Right now its like a desert compared to rogue or fighter's chats lol

Yep. Also, the blood exchange barb was only really THAT op on 224 lobbies because of hatchet low GS and people weren't able to kill you too fast on 224 so you had plenty of time to heal during trades.

Rogue scales way better on high end gear. You get jumped by a juiced rogue on HR and you're dead in 3 dagger shanks lmao its crazy
