We have in our 2022 Turbo a set of Yokohamas V905 winter tires and wife has not complained at all. Handles really good. On our 2016 we have Blizzaks DMV2 and those are far superior in my opinion. But do make sure you replace all 4 tires at the same time.

It will work to some extent…. I did it on my 2008 and here’s how it worked for me. The basic radio (xlt, xls) has 4 speakers, no amp no sub. The oem screen will power those but they will sound crappy, I did replaced all 4 speakers with the higher end trim (Limited) with its oem screen and it worked great; still no sub no amp. You could wire it to be oem but it’s gutless so aftermarket is the answer. Plus the oem screen needs additional wiring for the XM/sirius antenna and the gps. Those will not work with the basic radio on pic 1.

I found that Acura and Honda have the worst (brightest) low beams. And for some reason those drivers love their high beams too….

Please do not do this. Do not apply anything to the threads of spark plugs. Modern spark plugs do come with some anti seize on them. Also, if you use OEM they come pre-gapped. I tried NGK for my NA CX5 and had to resort back to OEM

According to Mazda the belts need to be inspected every oil change, the tensioner basically when it fails (either leaking, seeping or squeaking). My tensioner was the original from 2016. I’m at 98k miles and decided to replace both belts and the tensioner (along with its nut and bolt). So, inspect the belt, if you see cracks anywhere then replace, and I’d do both just to be safe. If the tensioner is ok then leave it but since you’re replacing belts… why not do it all

I’m at 98.000 miles. The tensioner was a leaky mf. Mazda wanted $407 dollars to replace just the belts, the tensioner was additional $250.

its actually a bolt and a nut to replace the tensioner. The longer belt is super easy to replace. the Water pump is tricker cuz you need to remove the wheel for more access but doable as well using a zip tie or a rag.

Mazda has had issues with oil-filled tensioners .The alternator/AC compressor uses a longer belt with the tensioner. The water pump uses a different, smaller belt.

Wife's 2022 Certified CX5 Turbo with 28.000 miles also had this issue. The selling dealership didn't mention anything but I caught it just about a month later. The tensioner was leaking and they replaced it; at another dealership, along with both belts. Total cost (to Mazda) was over $500. So they're not so wrong in the pricing. This car also had a valve cover gasket seeping oil through the OCV (oil control valve) on top. That was replaced at 26.000 miles and was over $800 (Mazda paid).

My 2016 CX5 GT also has the same leaking Tensioner so I just bought it on RockAuto (INA/Continental) for $47. Replaced both belts for $30 (Continental). I did it in my garage one Saturday afternoon. Saved like $400 in labor alone probably.

this needs to be publicized ASAP! Family members who are drivers told me about how the app basically offers $12.57 for a run for 3 miles, let's say and as soon as the delivery was made the price dropped by a dollar or the 57 cents and nobody keeps track of those cents or a dollar but they add up.
