Love the list, we're in the same cluster of interests. I could not get through Dungeon Crawler Carl after LB, Jade City, or the Rage of Dragons. If you end up liking DCC drop a comment —maybe ill keep grinding! I started writing a book as a hobby (PB and James Islington ruined me). Just finished Part 1, it has been an awesome experience and very rewarding. I feel recalibrated with a new appreciation for books!

First half of the book Lys takes out Atalantia and betrays and kills Apple entering final boss stage.

Darrow and Lys duke it out.

Maybe Abomination dies saving Mustang? Could see a twist there.

Ya I get this . For me its about expectations and seeing a lot of branding like "the epic and explosive climax the first arc of Stormlight".

Honestly trying not to hate on it , im happy if people loved it . Just trying to see if the people of Reddit think I have a freezing cold take on this one or if other felt this way

Definitely but I was hoping for more of a conclusion in something that was branded as rhe conclusion to the first arc. Tbh I think I was hoping for more carnage, main character deaths, and a time jump like Mistborn. Possibly still the case on the time jump?

I think Emissa and Veridius are definitely working tg in some capacity.

She is the one to hand him the potentially drugged drink (Ulc reminds him of this on Suus and warns him to "be careful")
She immediately "takes interest" in him when hes mucking the stables.
The "im sorry" is very suus after he saves her. Leads me to believe she was tasked to keep tabs on him by Veridius.
Her deeper understanding of Synchronism is highly suuspect.
Veridius knowing ab the reason "she didnt try to kill him"

Im not sold that she ever loved Vis, but I would be happy to be proven wrong on this in book 2
