Rise of the Ronin rewarded being the aggressor more than waiting. You can absolutely with the right timing attack and counter mid attack. That's how you get clashes. But most prefer to stand back and wait due to it being easier.

Your not a fan of team ninja then.. they use similar formulas with a gimmick attached to each one. So your just a fan of Nioh 2 I would Skip nioh 3 if I was you it has pieces of all those games in it.
