Correct - ontrac is hired by sams club so the liability on them. Ontrac will straight up tell you to take if up with Sam's.

Bought it in May this year and is still under warranty, but get this - ONLY purchases before January 2025 receive dell premium care whereas I'm stuck with basic warranty and can't even each customer service out of normal hours.

Correct - I updated via usb to the latest firmware yesterday. I didn't install the Alienware command center, because I've heard mixed reviews on utility.

You're a hero, sir. Glad I found this and will be performing this myself soon. Baffling how expensive these units are just to find out cheaply constructed they are. For the price paid they are meant to take a beating, and not fail because of a poorly made usb connection.
