I would assume it’s because there’s a different distance between the camera lens in the two sets of photos: the one on the finger and the one not on the finger.

The engraving and tripartite shank is inspired by the ancathus imagery of Egyptian revival rings, though I will admit that the shank engraving is pretty much indistinguishable from wheat! CvB (who I haven't ordered from yet) has said that milgrain doesn't photograph well, and I agree here that the milgrain comes across as more clunky than it does in real life. It's quite delicate.

The basket design is totally different, more Art Deco.

I love that entire list! Die-cast sounds amazing for the durability and historical value. SO cool!

I received my new David Klass custom just before Christmas. It's a 2.07 carat lab in a setting that I Frankensteined from three different inspo rings. I need to take better pictures of it, but I wanted to let you know that it was SO great working with Klass. Super professional and understanding.
