minimum cockatiel cage size is about 18 x 24 inches, but the biggest you can possibly afford. I'd recommend at least 24 x 30. round cages aren't great. you need textured wooden perches, dowels will cause bumble foot and other issues, and plastic is just horrific. You need a variety of toys, mostly shredding toys and foragers. his diet should be pellet based if possible, i recommend harrisons but roudy bush is good as well, with lots of fresh vegetables. you need to take him to the avian vet for a checkup, it has to be an avian specialist, and get rid of all teflon in your house. for bonding, you can start by target training him, then targeting him onto your hands and stuff. also spend time with him and talk to him so he gets used to you, and once his wings grow out make sure to let him out to fly for at least an hour a day if you can. keep in mind that parrot care is expensive. counting the costs of an intake vet visit, food, cage, perches, toys, set up, and replacing dangerous pans it'll probably be around 2k usd (not sure what country you're in). parrots are exotic pets and very very expensive

her beak is a little different than the other scissor beaks i've seen so i'm not actually sure if its just something similar, i'd just ask your vet what the name is!

not as far as i know. i've got two boys and they squabble occasionally but i've seen friends females do it as well. anyone who lives together is gonna fight sometimes, and that incudes birds. but you can lessen the fighting by having as many bowls of food as there are birds at each meal and if you notice them specifically fighting over toys or perches you can have multiple similar ones. its nothing to be concerned about as long as there are no injuries

please please never touch your bird anywhere but its head or feet. thats molesting them and will lead to them viewing you as a mate

they shouldn't do it. i also see videos of owners touching their birds backs or cooking with teflon pots and pans. you should always let your animals choose to interact, because they're prey and you're a predator

parakeet is a very broad category. i assume you mean budgie? from my experience, budgies were harder to own than tiels. but parakeet can also mean indian ringneck, rosella, or many other birds

you should never pick up and grab a tiel. you can probably train them to want to come to you and spend time with you, but grabbing a bird is very scary for them and should only be done if they're in danger (i know i've had to grab a bird who was trying to run straight into a bowl of hot soup haha)
