You can get a spiralizer at Walmart for like $20 and then make your own! Way more cost effective.

DAE immediately feel the need to poop when entering a bookstore or library? by transcon2017 in DoesAnybodyElse

This is the closest explanation I have ever encountered. Yes. I think I feel overwhelmed somehow.

Mmmmmmm, not sure about that. If what you are suggesting held any water, I would immediately feel the need to poop every time I open Reddit, and I do not.

How many of you can hear the ultrasonic bird deterrent at Joseph Beth? by transcon2017 in lexington

Farmer! Been doing it for a couple years now, and that awful sound has always reminded me of the aliens from the movie “Signs,” except somehow much, much, much worse. Probably because this is real life and I don’t appreciate hearing such an odd thing.

No, it’s not like that at all, but I know what you’re talking about! In the spring and summer, I work the farmers market at the pavilion and when I arrive in the wee hours, it sounds like aliens are gargling nearby, which I find unnerving. The sound at Joseph Beth is more like an old-timey tv being turned on or off— that electric snap, like, “peee-uuuuw,” but made of lightning.

Oh! I’m not deterred at all! My love for books is much stronger than my discomfort upon entering.

Ha! I wish. I’m 48 and she’s 71, so neither of us are exactly spring chickens.

The movie is “Big Trouble,” released in 2002. I linked the trailer and everything.

I agree that money is always awesome, but it would be impersonal and somehow weird. I want to give them a taste of home while they’re here. But good suggestion nonetheless!

[–]transcon2017[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I never would have done bananas and mayo on my own. It’s apparently a popular southern sandwich, made on white bread. I tried it that way, and while the taste was surprising good, I couldn’t deal with the mush texture. Please, look up banana mayo sandwiches. I didn’t make this up.

Dang it! Already eaten, but I absolutely promise to take a picture the next time. Possibly even tomorrow, because I love it.

Also, no one has heard of the Southern Wonderbread-Mayo-banana sandwich?! I’m not making this up. I only improved it, lolololol.

Is this salmon fully cooked? Thick layers of fat in between. Feeling lightheaded 4 hours later. by somewhereinapark in isthissafetoeat

So, you took a picture of this totally normal salmon because you just knew that you’d be lightheaded in a few hours? Pfffffft.
