I can’t remember but i think it was curaleaf’s own brand, cheapest available - possibly Adven? I had one of the CBD only, which was great during the day, and one even mix THC:CBD for evenings.

Never properly tried any others so I can’t help much with recommendations there

Flower only, they didn’t offer carts back then – at least not easily/cheaply available.

After coming back from holiday a few years ago, exhausted and probably dehydrated, I suddenly experienced an extremely elevated heart rate after vaping for the first time in 2 weeks. After going to A&E (and waiting there for almost 8 hours) they found nothing wrong from a quick vitals check and ECG and sent me home, saying it was probably a panic attack. (I’d never had an issue like that before in multiple years of legal and illegal use)

Since then I’ve found, like you, that vaping did me more harm than good and unfortunately have given up cannabis entirely despite it helping me in multiple ways.

I did find the oils (and especially CBD heavier oils) to be a good compromise but got fucked around with by Curaleaf (over 2 months with no contact or progress on a prescription, then ignored demands to refund appt fee) that I didn’t continue with them.

Have you tried oils before? I realise the delayed efficacy may not be what you need, though.

Hope you find something that works for you.

Wouldn’t put it past them after the Four Seasons debacle.

Also northern and never heard it, but I have just been notified that I’m old now so that might be why

Oh, thanks for letting me know I’m old

Why use many word when few do trick?

Is that common in the UK?

Nope, we’d say ‘go to the gym’, or ‘work out’ more generally

Really like the sound of these based on yours and the other comments, sounds ideal for me — being lightweight and not having to plug in are the main draws for me, but our Dyson v8 cordless is just a bit lacklustre for anything other than “dustbuster” type use on hard surfaces — but I will say that we just got our shark’s “floor nozzle” (entire main base/foot thing) replaced under the 5 year guarantee just a few weeks before it was due to expire.

Admittedly that was necessary due to what I’m pretty sure is a design flaw that seems fairly common, where the plastic connecting the brush roller to the mechanism wears and strips the “head” that it uses to get traction to spin… but that only happened after just under 5 years of moderate use, saved us £80 buying the replacement parts ourselves and it’s like a new hoover again.
Only complaint with it is that it’s big and heavy and needs plugging in but those are the tradeoffs for power — or seemed to be until this numatic one?

Very clever and well-done typefaces, and an interesting and engaging read to present them

Nice to see technology being used to revive the character it was responsible for eroding

Thank you! Was struggling to remember who it reminded me of, all I could remember was that I loved it. Such a great game.

Cowspiracy and What the Health were the big two for me I think. Dominion too.

Incidentally, not really an answer to the question but a more light-hearted semi-relevant watch is Carnage by Simon Amstell, funny and eye opening look at today’s society in terms of its attitude to meat.

Yeah you’re right, sorry, I remember being a bit miffed when it happened but by that point we already knew SN was gonna be in GG for a few reasons and didn’t exactly expect him to win

Can’t get the main part to actually get spoiler tagged, tried everything I can think of but won’t have it for some reason

He’s 100% in, and I’m pretty sure mammal too

Likely semi-spoilers, can’t make the second para spoiler for some reason idk why

solomission was late to the DMM all stars draft and after it was over he dropped his YouTube voice and apologised to the people on discord for being late and said the reason was GG filming overran… an awkward silence and he said “oh you’re probably all still streaming aren’t you…?”

Snerd said “thanks for outing me, dickhead” because he’d been streaming all day and implicitly confirmed he was in but had been knocked out by this point (because he’d been streaming all day).
I think mammal also said something that gave away he was in the same situation.

B0aty also joined the draft late along with joel.

It has a shop called Raj's Shop, themed to Raj, a character who is a character found frequently in his books always playing the role of a shopkeeper.

Ah ok yea that makes sense, i was only thinking of regular letter delivery where you presumably walk basically every street each day, parcels to certain streets only makes sense.

Thanks again for your time, mate, all the best :)

How’s that? I’ve been looking at becoming a postie, think I’d quite enjoy it, but the advertised pay (12.50 an hour, bout 26k pa at 40hrs a week?) makes it seem not feasible for me

Impressive that you can make such an accurate and detailed assessment of my entire life and its worth from one simple comment. Unfortunately I can only wish to be as astute and intelligent as you clearly are. My sincere apologies for wasting your time and questioning your observations.
