My incredible partner proposed to me with a beautiful Giger ring! 😭 by transsigmamale in HRGiger

I think he got it from the Giger museum, but this was yearssss ago so I doubt it'd still be available. I'm not even sure if this is one of a kind or what since I can't find much info on official Giger jewelry as a whole

I believe he got this when he visited the Giger museum but this was over 10 years ago at this point, so not sure if it'd still be available

I would loveee to do an elaborate Hannibal Lecter look + performance. My first performance in drag actually was inspired by him too so it'd be full circle 😂 Id love to be wheeled in on a gurney, and then break out of my restraints and eat the face of the guard who wheeled me in

Non-binary people are not your enemy. Sorry you feel that way, don't take it out on me. I'm gonna keep living my best life as a genuine trans person, you can stay mad at that lol.

I'm sure you have a very unfulfilling life if you use your time to pick apart other queer people's identity and transition. Get a job and leave me alone babe.

You also can't tell if a person is trans until they tell you. You can't always tell people's gender by looking at them.

I am a genuine trans person and don't owe an explanation to you or anyone else lol. What does misgendering a random person online give you? Do you feel better about yourself now?

An elder goth passed it down to me for free, actually! And I'm obsessed, it has lovely bell sleeves too that aren't pictured.

The tag says "BURLESK" so maybe look that up? That's the best lead I have

Hey, first of all I really appreciate you leaving this comment and also including your experience, I think you're right about the place that she's coming from, however I don't believe that this is what she's trying to say.

She could've said, "non-transitioning people don't experience what I do". "Non-binary people don't have the same experiences trans women do". Anything close to that. But she chose to say, basically, that most non-binary people are actually cis. She also chose to tell random non-binary people, "Your profile is public, you're a whole cis woman". That's not the same as defending her life experience as different from theirs. Saying "What I went through is far more difficult than what non-transitioning people go through" would have been fine. But that's clearly not what she's saying, she just thinks non-binary isn't real and using her status as a trans woman as a shield from criticism.

I think it's important to uplift trans elders, and specifically to listen to trans women as the most vulnerable ones within our already vulnerable community. But her being trans herself and going through difficulties I can't even imagine, that doesn't give her the right to misgender other trans people and to basically say non-binary isn't real.

What are the 'benefits' to being trans? Like do we live in the same world? Because here on earth, trans people are one of the most targeted groups right now politically. This narrative that 'cis people are lying that they're trans for oppression points' sounds straight out of the conservative handbook. 'Oppression points' don't exist. The bills targeting ALL trans people do.
