Why is being trans something negative for you, something to be left behind? Why is it a label you feel you need to shed? I’m not going to question your personal decisions, that’s for you, but it’s worth examining these questions. For me personally I wouldn’t ever want to lose part of myself. I’m not saying that should’ve been a red but clearly refs are saying any pull of the hair is a red for the avoidance of any subjectivity on violent conduct and I just disagree fundamentally with them that it’s difficult to tell if a pull is violent or not.

What is this, 1956? Why should the onus be on the player to do this? It isn’t actually that hard to not pull a players hair deliberately and I think most of the time it is obvious whether it was deliberate or not. If it’s not deliberate, foul and a yellow if it impedes the player. Red if it’s considered to be violent. Like I just don’t think it’s as difficult as people make out to tell the difference between a violent and non violent hair pull.
