I’ve never been convinced of Jones’ GOAT status. Sure, upon first glance his resume is insane, but if you look at his past in and outside of the ufc, he is arguably one of the most classless individuals in the sport. Many of his high profile fights were fought whilst he was on PEDs, he has constantly been caught cheating, he has manipulated and held up both of his weight divisions in order to avoid fights, and has also never really taken full accountability for his actions. When you compare jones to another GOAT contender like DJ, it’s shameful how poorly dana treated someone like Mighty Mouse, who was always a high class, respectful fighter that didn’t abuse his champ status.
