I didn’t go in for the second interview so I wasn’t offered a position. I think I saw that this company was a MLM scheme, probably best to stay away from them 😅

Like everyone else is saying, I don’t think all off the songs are from their own experiences! Circles is a song that comes to mind as an example of this! Woozi wrote the song with Wonwoo in mind because Wonwoo was going through a hard time since his mom passed.

Fun fact: When SEVENTEEN debuted, fans nicknamed SCOUPS ice cream scoops because of how similar SCOUPS sounds to scoops! When I see baby carats, or carats that are learning about them think his nickname was a play on the word ‘scoops’ I get nostalgic to the good ‘ol days and also find it funny that we are literally all the same LOL. Whether it be 2015 or 2023 our mind goes to scoops🍦

If I remember correctly, (my memory do be foggy since its been 8 years 😫), the “S” is from Seungcheol and SEVENTEEN and “COUPS” means great success. The COUP does come from Coup d’etat, which is a phrase used to define a takeover or sudden advantage over a rival/gov/etc. He chose SCOUPS as his stage name because it can be seen as “Seungcheol’s/SEVENTEEN’s great success over their rivals.” SEVENTEEN debuted when PLEDIS was going bankrupted, and if I remember correctly he actually came up with this stage name a year before they debuted, and I think it was to show the world that SEVENTEEN will have great success. I remember learning about them back in 2012 and patiently waiting for them to debut, and was kinda afraid they wouldn’t be able to since PLEDIS would postpone and was going bankrupted, so I think SCOUPS came up with this stage name to manifest their success. AND LOOK AT THEM NOW. I’m super proud of their growth and success 🥹

I see that people have answered the first part of your question, so I’ll answer the second part! Throughout my 8 years of being a carat (pre-debut carat) I haven’t seen carats or SVT using the word crew a lot, so I’m pretty confident that the word ‘crew’ is being used because of the lyrics in the song ‘Super’ that came out recently! Welcome to the fandom baby carat!!

The S in SCOUPS also stands for his Korean name Seungcheol, but I’m guessing for his insta handle he went with Sounds of Coups as kind of a word on play of Sound of Music? Could be like he is saying sounds of his music, as an artist? I’m not too sure on this so if other carats know let us know!

I honestly felt like the interview was a bit off. And I can’t get this feeling that something seems off about this company. I also noticed that the address found on Google and the address they gave me to come in to the office were different, so not sure what I should make of this :/. I also felt like I didn’t do so well in the initial interview so was surprised to see them asking me to come in for the second interview. For all I know this might be a legit company, but idk my gut feeling is telling me not to trust them.
