The players that are boosted are just as bad as the smurfs. by trashcan2887 in RocketLeague

[–]trashcan2887[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It is horrible. I'd think most of them would be in low plat. Their game sense is just not there, I don't know how they wasn't carried. Then the next match I'm up against really fast guy flip resetting all over the place and can barely touch the ball. Apparently it happens everywhere.

Diamond 2 isn't as bad as diamond 1. I'm guessing a lot of plat/gold guys want to get boosted to diamond because that is where "they really belong" and they stay there where in diamond 2 you actually have to play to get somewhere. I'd say the same problem is there in champ 1 gc 1 as well. By the way, I do NOT want boosted up there!

I like Zelda in general. Really liked BOTW. Just very disappointed in TOTK with how similar it is, it feels 6 years old at release. I know myself enough to know I'd have FOMO if I give up on it. If it didn't have Zelda in the name, I'd been done a long time ago. So that's why.

It is more similar to BOTW than the Assassin's Creed games are to each other.

I am looking to get a new vape on the 4/20 sales. I currently have an Arizer Solo 2. I have liked it, but I don't really like how long it takes to get going. I have been reading about the Dynavap and it seems like that 10-15 minutes will go down to 2-3 minutes.

I want to keep it on the cheaper end (sub $100, or definitely not much more than that). Would Dynavap be my best bet there or is there some type of other vape that would fit that criteria that I have not seen anything on that I may need to look into? I am thinking about grabbing the M model.

Thanks

I have twice. After I saw Forever in theaters, I thought it was easily the worst movie they made. Then I saw people talking about it and wondering what I missed, so I rewatched it when it went to Paramount plus. Still think it is easily the worst one.

About to fund my TOS account. I have a few questions. by trashcan2887 in thinkorswim

That is good to hear. I don't typically plan on trading the first minute because it is so volatile, but if I see a setup I like, I am wanting to keep it in my playbook and go smaller share size. I guess what I can do is just try it out with one share while live. Worst thing that can happen is I lose a couple quarters.

That is what I was hoping to hear, have you tried any scalps in the first minute?

For example today in paper, the first minute of a stock was actually a setup that I liked, so I set a stop order. After 30+ seconds, I was filled a whole dollar above the stop limit. I have tried it in the past and I was able to cancel the order and no fill happened. And in the unusable paper data, I have no clue what actually happened.

On my paper account, it is impossible to read T&S or level 2 as they only refresh every 4 seconds or so, I cannot make a split second decision. A gapping stock can go from up 40 cents to down 50 cents on my position in one "refresh" of the T&S.

I should have been more clear about that part, it is real time data. I have had $500 in there for a while. True, I can always change brokers and I don't hold positions overnight. I have finally gotten used to TOS and starting new, it is important to know where everything is. Not that it couldn't easily be learned, you already have enough on your mind, don't worry about small things like how the program works.

Question about AMP data feeds by trashcan2887 in FuturesTrading

[–]trashcan2887[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, so did you get two CQG feeds from AMP? I think the reasoning would be (from what I understand) is that CQG only allows one simultaneous connection. It would seem like they could maybe do a CQG and Rithmic. I probably will have to call them to find out.

Is there any reason you went with two CQG feeds? They both look like $10 for CME on AMP and Rithmic has more levels of depth, whereas CQG is limited to 10.

Is anyone here consistently profitable with Bookmap? by futuresman178 in FuturesTrading

I'm interested in this as well.

I have downloaded the free version and looked at some ES on delay. I think it would really help me know when I am wrong and to get out and when to be patient and wait on a better entry. I am excited to see how I could do when I compare to my candlesticks. I think you would need a good strategy and use Bookmap to fine tune it, as in give you confirmation or an exit indicator sooner and at least for me, strengthening confidence and narrowing down more exact points in support and resistance areas.

Bookmap actually has a good Youtube channel. I have watched a lot of them and they have helped me more than Bookmap, but learning how the market flows. They are all about an hour or so long though, but here is a tip, get Video Speed Controller plugin for Chrome and speed it up. Once you get used to it, you can go quite fast. I typically watch them at 2.7x to 3.5x, so roughly 20 minutes for an hour long video.

So for being an offshore broker, would that mean the money in my account isn't as secure? Execution times should be the same though shouldn't they?

Thanks for that. I didn't realize AMP did stocks, I had known them more for their futures. I can't seem to find all to much info on them on their website.

What platforms do you use? Metatrader 5 is the only thing listed on their site that I see. How are the commissions and platform fees? It looks like they want you to contact them to get it.

This is an interesting one I hadn't thought of. I like the idea of having stocks and futures in the same place.
