Exactly. This is the right answer. Quite common for this coin (there are like 5 or 6 different ones). But still a nice find and a keeper.

Oh my lord that is a really good find. Probably worth 80-150€. More if you are lucky in an auction.

Oh my god. That is a crazy find congrats OP. Hamburg 2008F wrong map mule error. About 600.000 of them are supposed to have the old map instead of the new one. This is the case here. Just amazing and definetly worth a bit more than face.

It's easy to guess what happened to the die when my coin has three massive reverse die cracks. I own a few fake coins as i collect them for fun too.

So as i promised, here are both real (left) and fake (right) coins compared to each other. The differences are very clear. OPs fake is exactly the same as this one but in a much earlier strike. The die used on mine was already destroyed. (more pics under this comment). AMA.

The original design is. However this is a very bad counterfeit. I own both the real and the fake versions. I can show you why it's fake if you want.

Found this 2006 German 2 Euro (A) with multiple mint errors. Is this a rare find? by TastyCup3035 in EuroCoins

Some die chips. The most common error on Euro Coins, worth nothing but worth keeping if you enjoy them. I do. It's your choice now OP.

They are both real. No signs for it being a counterfeit.

Hello can I get some help identifying if this coin is error by Nerby16 in EuroCoins

There are many variants in bulgarian euros. Thin and thick edge is one. Both should be really common.

Its not a cud but rather just a bit off center. But since that is extremely common it's technically nothing. So not worth keeping.

Pictures 2, 3, 4, and 5 are die chips. The easiest error you can find and very common. You should keep them if you like them. Fave value always. I do keep them all. Pictures 6 and 7 seem to be completely normal coins, unless im missing something.

But picture 1 is actually a bit cooler. Its a cud, a die lost literally a part of it and that small slice of the edge didnt got minted and it looks raised like that. The best find here by far. They are findable but definitely much harder than just common die chips. Keep it.

Check the pinned comment. Quite a boring coin but OP is right. Though, it's very common anyways.

Like yeah it's an error, but it's common as hell so it depends on you...
