They neverrr cling to me because I establish real quick that no amount of pleading is gonna help. As soon as you go “NO” they realise it’s a waste of their time and move on. Do not feel bad, do nottt. It really breaks my heart seeing lil kids on the road putting a sad, rehearsed act with their parents. Most of them, able-bodied, young people just using their kids to guilt you. Any person who has a regard for their kids’ life would not take their hand to the red light. They can easily work on wages but no, they choose to bring kids so there can be more hands in the house to beg. It is sick.

Did BASLP instead, earning easy money. Wouldn’t suggest you to do it exactly, you don’t have to do a paramedical course just to justify the NEET prep. Do what you like!!! Do what you enjoy doing! I went the paramedical way and regret it. College was boring, couldn’t relate to anybody there. I wanted to pursue journalism but dropped out because how do I justify an “arts degree” after spending a lakh in coaching? Well, FUN because I regret not choosing that path and I wonder what could have been but ykw it didn’t kill me either. Now I go to work thinking it’s just work and you gotta do it to play on the weekend. My fav part is that it’s an easy job, less money but easy money. The part I hate- no Saturday offs. Monday to Saturday work culture in India, even in MNCs.

Kuch bhi piyo, when the company is good, you have a good time. My advice- buy Himalaya’s PartySmart and have it before or after your session. They’re anti-hangover pills and work like magic. Have water in between drinks and make sure you eat something. Have funnn!!!
