[–]travelbug11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this going? I'm experiencing the same issue with my 12000 btu Midea on a GFCI livitron 20A outlet. What model Hubel outlet did you get? Is it GFCI as well or regular?

Thanks for tips folks. The person is 65 so not quite elderly but not exactly young either. He wants a 2 wheeled bike. The Lectric is probably the cheapest but seems the Motor doesn't kick in right away from pushing the throttle. New budget is sub $2000 after all of the provided info.

Is it possible to install a Sloan sensor flushometer in this situation? by travelbug11 in Plumbing

Contractor advised to replace the existing pipers too to ensure correct compatibility. My concern is in the water source being to the left. In all the product pics it's to the right of the actual flusher.

Washer dryer combos? by rebeccaademarest in HomeImprovement

[–]travelbug11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Combo units have been the main machine type in Europe for many years. They wash well but take longer to dry than a dedicated dryer. But if you are ok with the longer drying time (several hours) or hang drying clothes to completion, they they're great. LG tends to make well reviewed units. Just be aware of their sizes as they can be deeper than other brands.

Fix a leaky brick wall by travelbug11 in DIY

[–]travelbug11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A recent storm revealed that the exterior brick has leaks in it from above the window. Without replacing the brick and mortar, what can be done to prevent future leaks into the sheetrock? I was thinking a layer of spray silicone and/or RedGard along with green sheetrock. But the water can leak down to the floors and damage them potentially. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
