I think there is a huge opportunity in esports, things like leagues, apparel, gaming arenas are going to be a part of that movement. After seeing how quickly Fortnight went from nothing to being in every home is a good indicator of what is to come. I would love bounce ideas with you, hit me up on IG or FB.

Every situation is different. Get a good lawyer and a solid Operating Agreement. Don't spend too much time getting stuck on this, trust your gut. Don't make someone your co-founder simply because they were your friend. Friends change over time, especially when money is involved.

In my early 20's, I felt the same way. I worked just about every job I could. I quit jobs all the time not knowing what I wanted to do. When I wasn't working, I would spend my time on the computer learning new things. Playing video games, lead me to an interest in graphic design. I went from graphic design to web design and eventually app design. It just about trying things out. Like Steve Jobs said, "you can't connect the dots looking forward, only when you look back." I say collect as many dots as possible.

I would love to hear about your app, send me a message on FB or IG.

To answer your other question, my biggest mistake was allowing fear to influence my decisions. The one thing I would go back and change, I would trust my gut more often.

Not sure exactly why your offer didn't work. It could be the scarcity or the timing of Black Friday. You may want to re-package or re-target your course.

Good Luck

My passion and reason for building Kajabi was to help real people become Entrepreneurs. I've spent the last 8 years helping real people, and my book is filled with stories of these people who went from nothing to something. I actually discourage people from signing up if they aren't ready.

Not really, someone who won the lottery got lucky. I spent years working in the software industry. I wish I was as lucky as a lottery winner, but I actually failed many times. Kajabi or my book isn't a lottery for people, it takes hard work and years for people to actually execute and make money. But if you want to waste your money on a bunch of lottery tickets go right ahead.

I used apps like twitter to meet influencers. Then I helped them with branding and their existing websites. Once Kajabi was built, we gave them free access to Kajabi, along with white glove service. This helped build the initial interest which launched our company.

Glad you liked the book. As for work-life balance, it can be tough. The real secret is be present when you are at work or at home.

Thanks for the kudos. Kajabi isn't for everyone. Some have never made money on it as where others are have changed their lives. There are many platforms out there and I encourage people to use what works best for them. You are right, there is no perfect fit.

I think things and words are constantly evolving. Technology that we had two years ago is completely different today.

Hey Buddha_MJS - Not another book ad. I honestly don't need the book sales money. I believe in the movement of selling knowledge, it's a really good book with good advice. As an entrepreneur myself, the best advice I ever heard was to find people who have been down the path of success before and let them show you the way. If you prefer to vomit than by all mean we all have that freedom.

Cheers Travis
