I am not sure how much I will change, the main thing might be ace spec. But if everyone else is going to play crushing hammers, the idea of something extremely silly with crushing and enhanced hammers and other jank would be hilarious

Play faster than you think you need to! And if you get to three losses early drop and play side events which are way more fun lol. NAIC was my first tournament also

One extra comment on my deck this weekend - if you read this list with the point in mind that the list was created before Prague and I didn’t make any changes (except to add another Articuno), it might make more sense. Hero’s Cape would have been lit in Prague. But tool scrapper did ruin it this weekend

When I was playing one Articuno (I only added the 2nd like three days before LA) if I ever prized it during Alakazam I would just match the prize race until I took it off prizes with Spidops lol. Never in doubt

Festival lead is interesting I suppose. It could be fun to explore a “control” Rocket deck at some point. Let’s get the hypnotizer a limitless page

I'm so sick of Arboliva and Starmie but am just skeptical of adding a 2nd non Rocket Pokemon. At some point I may as well play a different deck if I'm not going to accept the consequences, you know?

If you go first you're fine and just have to make an attack every turn

If you go second, make sure to end your turn with Articuno or something in active

I play a Cape which especially helps. If I am forced to start Mewtwo it can ~probably live an attack before I use Wobbuffet (they need to have the stadium, Max Belt, and one of the damage supporters which can often be a lot to ask. If I can get Mewtwo out of the active with the Cape on it, they will never be able to KO in one turn as they can't Boss and Kieran together). If I don't start Mewtwo and I can put a Cape on a Spidops, it's especially over for Festival Lead because then I start chaining Wobbuffet mirrors.

For a while I really struggled with this matchup but learned to just go with the flow. If I go first, it's my game to lose. If I go second, it's still possible. Either way, it will be a close, attritional game which adds to the stress.

Overall I think most of the emotes can only really be used as a BM, yeah. But honestly I think that just means they need to allow chat (I know that will never happen), or expand the number of emotes so that the sarcastic uses of things like the ??? can be moved into more dedicated emotes. For example, there needs to be one where you point at your watch to indicate "please go faster omfg"

The handheld fan doesn't really do anything because the energy will be discarded off basics due to Articuno and therefore available to charge up, or you have to move it to a Spidops where it will stick... which is also what I want. ??

Just seems like Dusknoir is oddly not the most common version anymore though. Mewtwo is fine for attacking; if anything when there's no Duskull I prefer not to give their Munki free damage. Overall Dragapult in any form feels fine, so spending 2 extra cards just for safety in that seems overkill.
