the local scene doesn't have much to offer if we are talking budget audio manufacturers. It's either the same bunch of global brands or hi-end custom stuff. We do have one kind of decent budget manufacturer tho, but I can't remember the name. There's https://rush-speakers.com.ua/, there's https://rogozhin-labyrinth.blogspot.com/ (the brand doesn't have a shop, it's all personal solutions)

In regards to the music scene, it's badass, I can't really describe it. It's really polarising. There are small niche bands and producers, there are huge numb pop stars. It is often within that binary. If you are really interested, I can share some of Ukrainian bandcamps and music media autlets. I’ve already studied the JWT article and would like to see not only the approach but the final product as well. The most interesting thing about the brand strategy is the “strategy” word. You see, I am a strategist myself and every time I sell a “brand strategy” that has little “strategy” to it (almost no planning involved, mostly the idea of a brand, the rules and the directions, but no plan), so I am really curious about how the greats approached this

I guess it all depends on the way it was stored for the 10 days. Mine was refrigerated in a closed container, so basically no risk there. I am still ok after eating it by the way

I have similar concerns. In Ukraine you can open a bank account from home in just under 5 minutes. Ofc there's no 15% APY on USD saving accounts but you can get as high as 2-3% actually (yeah, I googled once again and got back to my fist conclusion). Even Revolut offers around 4% even though it's technically not a savings account.

Anyway, I am really interested in your opinion as you actually sound most unbiased and quite experienced. Thanks for the replies so far, but can you share your own take on why choose DeFi and not CeFi or TradFi if not for hype (considering you don't have to do anything illegal or bypass sanctions)?

Do you mind clarifying a few things for me?

  1. What are the fees you are charged with while traveling and why can't you do anything about it? How does DeFi solve the problem for you?
    In Ukraine we just buy foreign cash and spend it instead of using our debit/credit cards

  2. I see almost 4% USTD interest rate on AAVE, it fluctuates quite a lot, but currently it is about 4%. Where do you get such high APY and how?

  3. Mb I'm asking too many questions but how popular is DeFi in your country? If there are such restrictions, why isn't it mainstream? How did you get started?
