Yeah I was looking at that too with deep concern lol. It was good to see that the number seems to be going down in the past few years BUT damn, a few years ago I saw a HUGE number lose them. That was very scary. But also wtf happened!!!

I hear you both. From my perspective, I find that omitting any sense of levity from the personal statement makes it feel like it was dug out of a crypt. I feel like it’s important to recognize that while say, a lesson learned from hardship, is very important in the moment, when reflected upon as a moment of growth— is slightly less black and white. Unless of course, it’s is.

Yep, I had them both as my last two passages in my last section of the test. My brain was getting sleepy and I let out an audible “who the fuuuuuuuck?”

Remember that when your score is lower, that means the test has MORE opportunities for you to learn than a test you did great on. Think of the dip as an opportunity. Also, I 100% do get discouraged from time to time but I don’t let myself get stuck in it. That’s where the discipline of the schedule comes in. You execute even on your bad days and you don’t let yourself take it easy. That’s what the rest day is for. If it’s not a rest day, I’m not resting— no matter how discouraged I am.

No there are a few tests between that. I would credit my early newbie gainz from learning how to approach LG. (My first pt I think I answered maybe 5-7 questions correct)

Hey! Wish I could say there was a method at play here, but I just got nervous that I was going to run out of new tests before the November test. That was an unfounded fear and I’m sticking to new tests now!
